So I have entered some challenges with my husband and my friends for the month of September. The challenge with my husband will probably continue after September. So here it is 10:00 pm and I am planning meals for the week. I have my magazines out-yeah I am old no websites for me- and I searched for some meals and blammo I am done. I know some of you are like "Delena who has time to plan meals, I don't!!!" Well if you google Meal Planning boom you get a plethora of free apps for your computer and phone. Look at that this is why people have smart phones because we like to do millions of things we don't have time to just sit down and do it for ourselves. Calling on my two readers, do you have any meal planning apps you love or recommend?

Anyways here is what I plan on doing with my friends:
1. 30 minutes of physical activity at least 5 times a week
2. Eat out only twice a week
3. Drink alcohol moderately twice a week
Challenge with my husband see below: I am hardcore because I want to win this challenge against my husband and it helps when you have friends doing a modified version to be your support!!!

Oh yeah and the prize for said September Challenges is oh guess what not having my foot amputated or getting heart disease! In other words the prize is getting healthy and making healthy decisions.
P.S. Yes I noted the irony of me saying how much I love magazines because I love pages and print and the picture I took shows a magazine that printed on the cover "Ipad subscriptions are now available." Oh hilarious and

I am way behind you in meal planning. we do it but its a piece of paper and writing out what we plan to have.....I'll be watching your post for ideas to help me :)

I love the food network magazine. While I like looking through MS living magazine, I am never truly tempted enough to try any of Martha's recipes out. So, I have decided that magazine is a browse-only category.
Otherwise, the eat yourself skinny website has been winning in my recipes that I actually am loving to eat & cook!
