Dear Diary Adele rocks!
My friend Dahnya posted her new obsession with Adele and I love her too. She is absolutely talented but it is sad people focus on her weight rather then her voice. She is beautiful and happens to not be a size 2 FOR SHAME. So decide for yourself, I posted a video of her singing on David Letterman (best cover of this song ever!)

Not going to lie: the Cure is one of my favorite bands of all time so any covers of their songs have pretty big shoes to fill.
Adele's version is good but her lovely voice can't quite capture Smith's utter deprecation.
((don't throw that shoe at me!))
I think because I'm cable less (and Elle magazine jams their magazine with ads, fluff and pictures, no words) I haven't heard the "Adele isn't a stick" propaganda, luckily.
But, it does a body good to see a talented woman make it to the big leagues without her midriff and bootie being hard enough to bounce a quarter off. I can't wait to see what else she comes up with in the future!
